Overview

The Assignment feature in Glasshouse allows learning managers or the assessors to assign specific modules, lessons, or quizzes to the learners. This helps to track the learners’ progress on modules and or quiz.

How to use the Assignment feature in assigning specific modules, lessons or quizzes to the learners:

Start in the main page of the module or page that contains quiz you would like the learner to complete
On the menu, select the Assignment tab.
You will then be routed to the assignment section where you can customise the settings in this area Assign a learner task for this pages based on any of the choices below:
Tick the button for Assign this page on view?. When this is selected, learners are assigned on this page when they visit or view this page.
You can assign a learner or a group of learners who you want to complete a certain module or quiz based on the user group, organisations or based on the learner’s position.

A. Select the groups to assign this page to
B. Select the organisations to assign this page to
C. Select the positions to assign this page to

You can also select a specific learners to do the assignment by clicking on Add member or searching for the learners name on the search tab under the section Search or add the learners to assign this page to.
Scroll down to Assign assessors section. This option will only be visible if the page type is Checklist Page. Here you can also assign a learning manager or an assessor to check the learners progress. Same with above, you can choose assessors based on the user group, organisations or based on positions, you can also assign a specific person by clicking on Add member or searching for the learner managers or coaches name on the search tab under the section Search or add the individuals that will be assessing this page.

A. Select the groups that will be assessing this page
B. Select the organisations that will be assessing this page
C. Select the positions that will be assessing this page
Click Save and Publish

To check whether the modules were successfully assigned to the learners, go to the left side menu and click Journeys, click Learner Tasks Assignments in the tabs found on the upper right corner.

Assignment Dashboard

In the Assignment Dashboard, you can customise the dashboard and add widgets to track the learner’s progress.

Go to Assignment Dashboard, click Add Learner Dashboard widget.
Or you can choose LearnerTask reporting widget from the dropdown menu and click Add widget
Type the title you want the widget to appear
Click Save and Publish
