Changing the navigation style

How to change the navigation style

Start in the Settings area in the left-hand Navigation toolbar.

  1. Navigate to the Visual tab in the top tab toolbar.
  2. Scroll down to the Navigation section.
  3. From the Select Navigation type dropdown menu, select either three of the navigation options best suited for the site.
  4. Leaving the Select the page to show the navigation from dropdown menu blank will ensure the navigation option applies to the whole site.
  5. Click Save.
Options

Making the navigation sticky

Checking the Show header and sidebar as sticky? checkbox will keep the header and navigation always in view. When scrolling down the page the header and navigation will not disappear as they would in a normal scrolling fashion. This option only works with the Breadcrumbs and Hamburger navigation styles as the Sidebar option is not affected by vertical page scrolling.

Overview

Glasshouse navigation can be customised in either of three ways: Breadcrumbs (default), Hamburger and Sidebar. Breadcrumbs will show the navigation path underneath the site header and above the page content. Hamburger will open a navigation menu from a clickable icon in the top right-hand corner. Sidebar will show the navigation as an expandable list on the left-hand side of the page. Sidebar is the navigation option used on this site.
