Pages may have child pages nested underneath them in the hierarchy. Click on the arrow to the left of a parent page to expand and view the child pages underneath.

Click on an individual page in the Tree management panel to bring up the Page management area.

Page management

The Page management section is the main content area of Glasshouse. Information specific to individual pages is displayed here, including:

  • Page name
  • Navigation label
  • URL
  • Page content

A Visual editor (also known as a TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor) is used to edit the text and image content of the selected page. The Visual Editor operates in a similar fashion to a word processing application, and includes functions such as bold, italics, text justification, bullets and lists, tables, and image options. More advanced users can edit the page's HTML directly, by using the HTML button in the Visual Editor.

Publishing bar

Manage the status of each page from the publishing bar. Functions include:

  • Save a page (draft)
  • Delete a page
  • Publish a page (make it publicly available)
  • Unpublish a page (returns to draft, without deleting)
  • Preview a page (published or draft version)

Preview panel

When Glasshouse is first opened, the screen will be split with the editing options outlined above on the left, and a preview of the front-end of the current screen on the right. In the bottom right panel are a series of display options for the screen. The Draft / Published toggle button shows a view of both page states. The preview width button shows how the page functions at different screen sizes. The change view mode button on the far right shows further view options for the screen. Split mode shows both editing and preview modes (the default first view), Preview mode shows only a preview of the current front-end of the page, and Edit mode shows only the editing options and panels outlined above.
