Wiki

Overview

A wiki block is a simple collaborative tool for allowing text content to be directly editable from the front-end of the webpage. Changes made in the front-end will update in the back-end as well.

How to create a Wiki block

Creating the Wiki block

Start in the Page management area of the Sequence page.

  1. Click on the (Select type to create) dropdown menu above the Blocks area, and select Wiki block.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter a block heading into the Heading field in the Main tab
  4. Add content into the Wiki Content field.
  5. Click Save and Publish.

Editing text from the front end

Wiki content is directly editable from the front-end of the web-page.

  1. Click anywhere within the text and start typing.
  2. Click Save to save the changes.
  3. Refresh the page in the back-end for the new text to appear.

Adding images from the front-end

  1. Press enter/return to start a new line.
  2. Click the small + symbol to show the image upload option and select the image icon. This will open an upload dialogue to add an image directly from your computer.
  3. Click the x to close the image icon option to resume typing.
  4. Click Save to save the changes.
Options

Underneath the Wiki Content field are the standard content options which appear in most Main tabs on blocks. Text entered into the Text Content field will always appear above the wiki content.
